The whole vital-signs panel, explained
Each check below exists because its failure mode is silent, expensive, and — once you know — easy to prevent.
Uptime monitoring
Your site is checked from outside, the way visitors see it — every 5 minutes on Starter, every minute on Pro and Agency. A down alert is sent only after a failed check is confirmed by a second one, so a momentary blip never becomes a 3 a.m. email. Every alert includes the HTTP status, response time and when it started; the recovery alert tells you exactly how long you were down.
SSL certificate watch
Certificates fail quietly: an auto-renewal breaks, a migration forgets one, a hostname changes. We warn at 30, 14 and 7 days before expiry and flag chain errors and name mismatches the moment they appear — before your visitors meet a browser warning page with your name on it.
SPF, DKIM & DMARC health
The trio that decides whether your invoices, receipts and newsletters land in the inbox or the spam folder — and whether criminals can impersonate your domain. We grade each one, count SPF lookups against the 10-lookup limit, verify DKIM keys across common selectors, and grade DMARC policy strength. Any change or downgrade alerts you the same day.
DNS change alerts
DNS is the phone book everything else depends on — and the easiest thing to break with one tired edit. We snapshot your A, AAAA, MX, NS and mail records daily and diff them. Any change produces a before/after alert: hijack attempts, accidental deletions and registrar mistakes surface in minutes, not at the next customer complaint.
Blacklist monitoring
If your domain or mail server lands on Spamhaus, Barracuda or SpamCop, your email quietly starts dying. We check daily and alert on listing — with the delisting path for that specific list included in the alert.
Domain expiry guard
An expired domain is the one outage with no patch: the site, the email and the brand, gone in a registrar's grace-period auction. Warnings at 30, 14 and 7 days make sure it never gets there.
