Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026.
The service
UptimeVitals monitors the public availability and configuration of domains you register with us and alerts you to changes and failures. Monitoring is performed from our infrastructure at the interval in your plan; brief check delays can occur.
Accuracy
Checks reflect what our probes observe from the public internet at the time they run. We work hard to avoid false alerts (including two-check confirmation for downtime) but cannot guarantee that every transient state is captured or that third-party data sources are error-free.
Your responsibilities
Only monitor domains you own or are authorised to monitor. Keep your account credentials safe. Public DNS data about your domains is, by design, visible to anyone — monitoring it with us grants no rights over it.
Billing
Paid plans are subscriptions billed through PayPal, monthly or annually as selected. Cancelling in PayPal stops renewal; access continues until the end of the paid period. First-30-days refund requests on paid plans are honoured by emailing support.
Liability
UptimeVitals is an alerting service, not a guarantee of uptime or deliverability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the three months before a claim.
Changes
Material changes to these terms will be emailed to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect.
