Digest and email preferences

Last updated October 24, 2026

Two kinds of mail come from UptimeVitals, and they are switched off separately.

The Monday digest

Every Monday, if you have at least one active site, you get "Your weekly vital signs": each site's health score, status, and how many incidents it had that week. It goes to your alert email, or your account email if you left alert email blank.

Turning the digest off

Click Manage email preferences in the footer of any digest, or open the unsubscribe link it carries, and switch the digest off. You can switch it back on from the same page any time. Turning the digest off does not touch incident alerts.

Incident alerts

Downtime, DNS, SSL, blacklist, and domain-expiry alerts are the service itself — they cannot be switched off globally. To stop alerts for a site, remove that site from your dashboard (its history is deleted too). To change where alerts go, set an alert email in Settings → Profile.
