Why did my score drop?
Last updated October 22, 2026
Open the site's detail page and find the check card that changed colour — its one-line summary says exactly what broke. Then match it to the usual causes:
- SPF, DKIM, or DMARC dropped — you (or your email provider) edited DNS, changed mail providers, or moved hosts. Re-check the records against the check's summary.
- DNS changed — any DNS edit, nameserver change, or migration triggers this by design; confirm the new records are the ones you intended.
- SSL dropped — the certificate was renewed with a different chain, or it is within 30 days of expiry.
- Blacklist — your mail IP or domain was listed; the check names the list.
- Uptime dropped — the site had real downtime, or a firewall started blocking checks (see Site shows down but loads fine).
Fix the cause, then click Run check now — the score updates on the next full scan, or immediately when you run a check.
